 So below are my three dogs

Princess is a mini pin who was given to me by a coworker, she is the sweetest and well behaved dog.  Her name suites her well.

Plue a shih tzu  i found in my local marketplace on facebook, the lady was trying to rehome him.

Now according to there history he is not suppose to be the brightest dog, but Plue totally takes the cake when it comes to wittiness.  He super smart and loves to chew on everything.  When he smiles his back teeth show (see picture below)

Now theres my fiances lab HERSHEY, ughhhhhhhh this dog drives me nuts, he dislikes storms and fireworks, but when a jet roles by he just sits there, i just dont get it.

He loves attention and misbehaving.  He likes to climb counters and eat a whole loaf of bread if you let him.  Barks at squirrels in the trees for hours and drives the neighbors insane. He is deftly a handful.

Love these guys , what would a world be with out our fur companions! I just cant fathom it.

small project i worked on for the new dog kennel under the stairs
i wanted to find wall art for the walls on the outside of the kennel so i found this sign on etsy
that i kinda liked.

but i kinda wanted to do my own spin on it, So i had my fiance cut me a board that would fit right in the middle of the dog opening.

Bought some paint from target and some brushes.  I liked the rustic look but opted to just do a solid color.  I used a satin pistachio and satin coal.

Total came out to about 8 bucks .

Pulled out the old plastic shower curtain and layed the background color on the board than sketched the writing on the board freehand, i thought about buying a stencil but totally forgot when i went to target, so hence the free hand.

After free handing everything i decided to eat some jar'ed peaches which i later stuck my paint brush in by accident :(

Well that's when i decided why not just paint a dead squirrel on the end of the board.  I know , I know weird humor , YAAASSSS !!!!

 So this was the final project completely I used 3m adhesive strip to adhere it to the wall as to not damage anything.  2lbs weight limit. 

Pokemon GO family

So what the hell is Pokemon GO???? I replied to my 11 year old son who was going on and on, about how excited he was after coming back from his uncles house.

Where do i start, one day after work i decided to download the app and check out what all the fuss was about with my three sons.

Well normally i come home super exhausted and try to get a work out in if I dont feel like my eyeballs are glued shut .....

So i tell the boys lets go for a walk , they get super excited put on there shoes and off we go , looking for Pokemon, now im pretty savvy with electronics and apps, but i couldn't quite figure out how to catch the darn RATATA (rat looking thing that appeared on my screen)
my son so kindly shows me how to throw a darn pokeball at the thing to capture it.....now im excited.

After about 45 minutes of walking we caught about 6 pokemon total and a few pokestops ( this is a place where you can reload your pokeballs and get some other stuff im learning about still)

Well we walked about 2.5 miles and they were very satisfied with there Pokemon Go action.

Moral of the story, i got my workout in, we did family time, and my boys worked out without even thinking about it, MURICA !!!!!! Gotta love it ....

on the flip side just be aware of your surrounding would be my advise and dont travel into places that seem sketchy !!!!

Below was a trip we took as a family to UTSA campus looking for Pokestops and Pokemon, we walked for about an hour in the Texas sun, bought all in all we had fun running around looking for those darn creatures.

So after many failed attempts and the Texas Heat we couldn't quite figure out what to do with our PUPs.  They hate the kennels and I know people swear with kenneling your dogs, but our dogs think kennels are like the Black Hole.  So after googling and researching i came upon some images on PINTEREST, whod of thunk it, right? Gosh Pintrest has everything i guess, maybe even how to hide a dead body, kidding kidding.  Anyway, this is how our project got started.

My fiance first cut a hole in the dry wall to see what was going on under the stairs, a bit scary cause you kinda have to stick your head in and look, Whos scared of spiders??? you guessed it me .... so he was nice enough to do that part. Lo and behold we found the builders lunch, yes old taco wrappers under there for almost 10 years, yummy right !!!! So here we cut out the two by fours after we realized there was a support beam running at the top a few inches from the top opening, Thank you jesus, we didnt have to do much work there.

This was the space under the stairs initially we were going to use
it for the doggies but opted not to because we would really have 
a hard time getting back there for accidents or ect.

After cleaning after these lovely gentlemen or women who left there leftovers under the stairs we assessed the situation, also you can see the wire that was not secured and didnt have much slack.  We had to cut small groves in the wood to secure that wire which was hott.

 33" height x 43" wide x 54" length was our space.

This is the led light we bought for the inside, battery powered hangs with a nail.

after cleaning the area we took a trip to home depo to get the materials we would need to finish the project.  6 small insulation boards, 2 drywall, 3 boards of trim, Drywall Nails, and Trim Nails, Dawn cause i ran out of kitchen soap lol, and battery powered light and batteries. And a soda cant forget that.

These are a few more pictures of the insulation, we didnt nail them in, they were pretty snug going in so opted to not do that.

Well after this step came my not so favorite , DRYWALL. Why is it not my favorite, because the dust goes everywhere, even where the sun dont shine, so yeah deftly not my favorite thing.  So i measured and cut and my fiance installed with a little help when it came to the ceiling.  FYI make sure you have really sharp blades for Drywall cutting.

Now full disclosure we are not savy at any of this stuff so this was all trial and error really, I will tell you that nailing the drywall down was not perfect but we covered some of the nails with drywall paper and putty.  The last picture was after we had sanded everything.  We were pretty impressed with our selves, you know the whole high fiving each other , although not perfect by any means.

After slaving all of saturday we left the rest for sunday, YAY !!!!!! SLEEP !!!!! 

Good morning , now time to paint.  Fyi i totally missed the pictures of the trim going up, We went through all three Trims we bought because we couldn't get the corners right, so we seriously winged it, We both sucked at geometry !!!! We used an old plastic shower curtain to keep the paint off the floor. 

Ahhhh finally the end, after we were done, we really couldnt believe how well it all turned out below are just a few pictures of what it looks like with the pups, we are planning on doing vinyl on the ground for easy clean up and maybe a backsplash but for now this is were we are at, feel free to ask me any questions, if theres any thing i can help answer i will try and get back to yall :) FYI my dogs love it , at first a little apprehensive but we used an old baby gate that we will late hinge down but for now just using the pressure.  I am adding a sign at the top, and just using a dog pillow for the floor.

HELLO AGAIN !!!!!

ahhhh where do i start, so after years of being absent , well not really mainly on my Youtube Page screamoing my head off I completely stopped blogging.  So after many failed relationships, ive finally shacked up with a really nice person.  Seems to be working but like relationships there are ups and downs.  Between me and him we have 5 boys and 3 dogs and 4 bathrooms, OYE VEY !!!!
Anywho our household is very blended and Im taking it day by day.  Well if your intrested in my screamo stuff its at the link below, fyi my hair is green these days.  Was kinda tired of the regular you know browns and reds, walked into sallys and said ehhhhh why not green.  Its been a good convo starter and i get alot of complements.  If your thinking about changing your hair to a diffrent color , i say just do it, we are only on this earth until god takes us home.  Havnt really been doing much of the art stuff but we have been doing a lot of projects around the house.  I will post a new blog about the under stairs kennel we just busted out in a weekend.  Drywall dust and paint everywhere.  Anywho for now toodles and before i forget there is more vids of new songs i did on the app SMULE, if your into karoke this APP is for you.  Find me under marvila_lockhart.
